So - it is Christmas and it is quite chilly in this "mile high" country. Thank Goodness for our fireplace. It has a way of keeping us warm like nothing else. We love to sit by the fireplace early in the morning. The flames seem to take you into a whole another realm...

Those flames look wonderful. My problem: a choice between the fireplace -- and a tall pine tree, which is spreading limbs directly above the chimney
I would go for the fireplace. You can use those limps for kindling.. Recycle back to nature!
..oops..my husband said it is "limbs" not "limps"... (that is the Finnish in me)
