Anticipating New Year
My husband and I took a little stroll by Lynx Lake earlier this morning and enjoyed once again the 305 trail. As we were starting our little journey I took some pics just to finish up the end of the year. This little boat, frozen into the lake, looking over to the still unfrozen part of the water... as if it was anticipating what the new year would bring...

Nice photo. Hopefully, the new year will bring a thaw. I didn't realize your town got so cold.
Thank you - Lets hope the "thaw" will come. And yes, it does get quite cold here in the winter. But the summers on the other hand, are so warm and long...
Beautiful photo.
I couldn't decide on theme day and am leaving it up to the votes. I narrowed my down to seven. Yikes! Hate to say I just couldn't pick one. Come take a look and put your vote in.
I do like your photography selection today.
I hope and pray you have excellent health and are very happy all the days of your life but especially in this new year 2008.
Happy New Year from Patty and me.
Thanks for your visits to my blog in 2007.
mes meilleurs voeux en cette année 2008.
My best wishes in the year 2008.
That little boat will have a second career as firewood. :( What a shame that the owner was not smart enough to remove it before the ice will surely crush it.
Happy New Year to you and yours.
