Walk on

Inauguration nears... "Sully" successfully landed his plane on the Hudson river creating a good beginning for the new year for all of us who hope for better things in this world. Are you encouraged? I am. The key is as Winston Churchill once said: "Never give up, never, never, never!"

Ladder I built

There is a long story behind this one.
On December 4th, my husband went to clean the chimney and because of our old ladder was very wobbly, he fell off 7 feet. During the fall the fence caught his knee which then ended in a busted patella and in a major knee surgery. (He is still recovering from it) Well, the old ladder has been now scrapped, and so I found some solid lumber and built a new one. This is how it looks. I told my husband that my training in webdesign is paying off... :)

Snow covered Bradshaws

We had a semi-white Christmas. Off and on snow storms left the mountain tops white. At this elevation it is pretty cold so the snow will probably hang on for a while.

Bradshaw Mountains in the Morning Light

The morning sun casted a beautiful light over the Bradshaw Mountains. As previously stated my husband and I were out early enjoying the morning sun colors and it was well worth it.

Sunrise of 2009

This morning I saw the orange sky and so I told my husband: lets go! As a result both my husband and I hobbed into the car in our pyjamas and drove around admiring the beautiful morning.
