Mayer

Why are these girls and horses smiling? Maybe because us city dwellers stopped them with some "Bunny Love" carrots in our backbag and fed the horses some....

Corral

So - the voting for healthcare reform is done. Lots of hype is up in the air. Politics. It is all politics...whose side are you on anyway? I think it is good to start from your own side in the worst case scenario and work your way up from there.

Brownlow Trail

There was a duathlon event on Brownlow trail yesterday: running and mountain biking. As for me, I got on my mountain bike and put the camera in the backbag and took off on the trail where I caught some shots of the riders. I cannot help it, mountain biking has been my "sanity" for many, many years...

Still Wintery

In the higher elevations in our area we still have loads of snow. I rode my mountain bike to Walker just to see what is going on there and saw abundance of snow banks with brooks, wet and muddy roads... spring is on its way

Aspen Trees in Snow

At different elevations different things grow. The aspen like the cooler weather at higher elevations. I felt like I was in a different country in entirety staring at all this snow, because in our elevation it has pretty much already melted.

Meet my "deer friends"

My husband and I were driving in Walker and all of a sudden my husband told me to slow down. There were bunch of deer off the road doing their morning grazing and hanging out. Immediately I asked my husband to hand me the camera...I left the car and started taking pictures. Lot of them did not come out right. I had the camera on Program mode and maybe the action mode would have been better. Anyway, as I looked behind me there was one "sneaky deer" trying to get away from my lense. This is actually the same animal twice. A little photoshop...

Road

I like to look at curves along the roads and trails. They have their own place in life. Have you ever been "thrown into a curve"? Well, I have. And more than once, but somehow the road straightens out eventually. It is always good to keep in mind when in the midst of "curvyness"

Eagle

I will never stop being amazed and awed at the majestic bird. The eagle always catches my breath. My husband and I were greeted by this one on our early morning walk.

"who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." (Psalm 103:5)

He is tired. He is so tired that even a good cup of coffee is not doing its job. The man kept popping his head up now and then... God help him.

This part of the church building fascinated me. The rest of the building I could not get any inspiration at all. But the steps and the few words on the wall keep looking right at me.
