This purple flower grows at the Sharlot Hall museum in the fall. I am sorry but I have no idea what it is called. But it is quite nice - cheery and pleasant. Sort of looks like a long distance relative of Russian Sage...
I think it's called blue salvia - or a relative thereof. (Or possibly a variety of lavender, but without seeing the leaves it's hard to tell.) Lovely photo.
