Something about the Tulips
Tulips are really my favorite flower. They look smooth and polished. My husband found these in one of our stores even though it is not quite the season yet. What a delight. ( I learned from my photography instructor to spray the flowers with water to give it a nice appeal.)

I was just thinking that it isn't time for tulips yet. A real wintertime brightener.
With luck, we'll have good tulips in my neighborhood -- the week-end doctor who planted 1000 bulbs has refenced his garden to save it from the local javelina. However, the advice to spray flowers with water reminds me of the time I had to set-up a food shot. Talk about staging! (And I was working with a Playboy girlie photographer, to boot!)
Granny - Sounds like you've had some interesting experiences. Last year our tulips succumbed to the javelina exurcions in the neighborhood. I am hoping that somehow this year the tulips would be spared.
Great shot. These are beautiful, and the photo instructor had great advice.
Great pics of the lovely tulips. I'll try the technique your photography instructor advised.
indeed drops of water do make flowers more photogenic
great shot of the tulips. The lighting was perfect.
