I'll take off Flying... is the name of the game of this grey/blue heron. It is a very elusive bird. Always flying across the lake...never letting too close.

My cousin is always trying to get a picture of a heron, and it eludes her as well. For me, it's the woodpecker I chase.
They are the same over here in Yorkshire, quite wary of humans. Probably just as well else there would be none in the wild.
