Watson Lake

Back to Watson Lake. The rock formations have always fascinated me. This is a good place to take "time out" - although it is very popular place as well. If you can tune out other people or manage to pick times when it is not crowded then in my opinion it is most enjoyable...but what do I know anyway?

This what happens when your camera exposure settings are adjusted according to the background light: your subject becomes a silhoutte. It was a semi mistake on my part, yet I like the results.

Prevent Forest Fires

Fire season in Arizona. Many of the dreadful forest fires are started by hot coals left behind by careless campers. This billowing smoke cloud can be seen here in Prescott, although the fire itself is about 100 miles away in Flagstaff.
