Old Governer's Mansion

This is how the governers used to live here in Arizona - See, Prescott was Arizona's first territorial capital. Picture is from the Sharlot Hall Museum.

Sun through Fire

Unfortunately, we are having a 500-acre forest fire in the Crown King area at this time. This is why the sunrise looks like we are in Los Angeles. The air is very smoky and we hope that the fire crews can get it under control asap. It was started by a lost hiker who lit a signal fire, which then turned into a major fire.

Hummingbird in the Air

Hummingbird was approaching a feeder and I was fortunate enough to get a "snappy" - these little birds sure are fast.

Google lives here

My husband and I bought this weaved bird nest almost two years ago and we were almost ready to give up on the thought of having little bird residents in it until today, when I noticed this little "google head" in there.
