Top of Spruce Mountain

Sometimes it makes you feel like you're on top of the whole world, when you look from Spruce Mountain. What a sight. Let's do it again!

Hot Air Balloon

Last spring, when driving toward Cottonwood, my husband and I encountered this hot air balloon, which was having a hard time landing due to the strong winds. It looked for awhile that it was going to land on the middle of the highway, but all ended well. This picture has been shot through the car window, therefore the "spots."

Statue

Here is a full version of the statue honoring the Irag War veterans at the Prescott Veteran's Administration. (See Below)

Soldier's Boots

These cast iron boots can be seen in front of the Veterans Administrative Hospital in Prescott. The statue of the boots was erected to honor the Iraqi war veterans. There is actually a machine gun in between the boots, but I just wanted to capture the boots without the gun.

So - This is how it all started. A gold rush to the Bradshaw Mountains. And the rest is history.

More along the Peavine Trail

At about 2.5 miles in you run into some water along the Peavine trail. This is actually part of the Dells.
